A local humane society currently has a BIG need for large cages, for a new cat boarding facility. Due to the dire need, we are hoping for donated cages or at least some low priced ones, and they can be picked up if in Lorain County, or at the Elyria PetSmart store (where there is an adopt-a-thon this weekend). If you have a large cage you no longer need, please contact eshstreasurer@gmail.com.

UPDATE-As expected, the shelter is filling up quickly and we currently have no more cages, yet we still have many cats at a boarding kennel that we want to get out. Please consider assisting in some way.
